Northwest Flower and Garden Festival takes root in Seattle

A sure sign that spring has arrived in Seattle is when the Northwest Flower and Garden Festival gives green thumbs everywhere a taste of all things green and growing.

Less than two months away, the festival is most famous for its garden displays. More than twenty garden experts design and put together intricate displays of flowers, hedges and other plants, aiming to elevate the humble garden into a work of art.

Container Wars is also a fan favorite, and experts go head-to-head to create the most impressive container garden display, all the while teaching spectators new and innovative techniques to get the most out of small spaces.

There are free seminars and a marketplace where visitors can peruse the latest garden tools and items, unique plants, seeds and furniture. Vendors at garden shows such as these can use brochure printing and business card printing services to inform potential clients and customers.

Early bird adult tickets are $20, or $25 at the gate. Visitors can purchase a two-day pass, which is valid for any two days of the show, for $36.

The Northwest Flower and Garden Festival takes place Wednesday, February 26 to Sunday, March 1 at the Washington State Convention Center at 705 Pike Street. Hours are Wednesday to Saturday 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
