The Columbia City Gallery is presenting three exhibits through January, featuring area artists.
The ‘Small Wonders’ exhibit, held in the Main Gallery, features a variety of genres of art, including monotype prints, watercolor paintings, ink drawings, jewelry, and sculpture. Among the featured artists are Tina Albro, William F. Booze, and Sally Drew.
Running concurrently in the Guest Gallery is the ‘Black, White Plus One’ juried exhibition presented by the Northwest Collage Society. The featured pieces were chosen by Kristi Galindo Dyson. Each artist was challenged to create a piece that was black and white with just one additional color.
Also taking place at the Gallery is the annual Festival of Ornaments, which showcases a variety of handmade, unique decorations.
The art exhibitions may attract other Seattle artists or those work for graphics or printing companies in the city, possibly to see what is new and contemporary in the art world.
The Small Wonders and Black, White Plus One exhibits will be on display at the Columbia City Gallery until January 11, 2015, while the Festival of Ornaments will take place until December 31. The gallery is open Wednesday to Friday from 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm and on weekends from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. It will also be open on Mondays from December 1 to 24.
