The 1st Bark Benefit is taking place next month in nearby Issaquah. It is a fundraising event for Saving Great Animals and will be held in association with the Seattle Seahawks.
Guests will be treated to appetizers from some of the best restaurants in the area and wine. They will also have the chance to bid on an auction for items such as travel packages, Gift Certificates, clothing, and Seahawks memorabilia. Entertainment will be provided throughout the night by the Blue Thunder Drum Line and the Sea Gals, while Blitz and a Seahawk player will be on hand to meet and greet people.
There will also be the opportunity to meet some of the dogs from the area that are up for adoption. Sponsorships are available from $500 up to $5,000, and auction donations are still being accepted.
Saving Great Animals serves many communities in the Northwest. The organization rescues animals from shelters and places them with foster families. It also provides medical care, rehabilitation for injured or abused animals, and public education.
Seattle residents may find out about this event after receiving an invitation in the mail that was provided by local postcard printing companies.
