Festival promises lots of fun for the kids
The 4th annual Seattle Children’s Festival is taking place next month, hosted by Northwest Folklife.
There will be plenty of activities taking place during the day that will appeal to children of all ages. Kids can pick up passports and have them stamped at each activity station, which will make for a fun souvenir of the festival. Among the stations they can visit will be the Armory Discovery Zone. There, they will be able to learn all about electricity, build a toy boat, or create a masterpiece at the coloring station.
There is set to be a family dance, cooking workshops, and a movement series where participants can learn about health and fitness.
Among the live performers confirmed to appear at this year’s festival are Arpan Arts, Sumayya Diop, and Madena Pitka. Other groups performing include the Northwest Tap Connection. There will also be beat boxing, Aztec dancing, and Tunes for Tots with Miss Charlotte.
No doubt organizers will be investing in poster printing services from a Seattle printing firm to spread the word about the festival.
