The Irish Festival is taking place in Seattle on two separate days, albeit a little differently to the usual celebration.
Part of the Seattle Center's Virtual Festal Series, it is a presentation of the Irish Heritage Club. The festival will be virtual, and the cost is free. It can be viewed on Facebook and the official event website.
The theme for this year's festival is "Where the World Gathers." It will feature a variety of traditional Irish music from artists such as the Carrigaline Celtic Band, Irish fiddle music provided by Dale Russ, and Irish step-dancing performances by local groups. There will also be lectures on Irish history and the Irish language, genealogy workshops, and screenings of Irish films.
Guests can also take part in Gaelic games, learn how to make items like soda bread, and view visual art exhibits. There will also be cultural displays.
Seattle residents are used to attending this festival in person, but will no doubt be interested in watching from the comfort of their own homes. To help advertise events like this, Seattle printing services companies are often asked to provide items such as Flyers and Posters.
The festival will be held on March 14 and 17 and will be screened from the Seattle Center Armory. For more information about this event and the live-streaming, call 206-684-7200.
