Arts to take over Seattle this Labor Day weekend
The annual Bumpershoot celebration is coming back to Seattle next month for three days.
There are set to be theatrical, musical, comedy, film, visual arts, and literary events taking place over the three-day celebration. Venues such as Memorial Stadium and the Seattle Center will be hosting the events.
Some of the musical acts who will be performing are Minus the Bear, Lindsey Stirling, Alex Anderson, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, and Atmosphere. Comedy will be provided by Alex Edelman, Laugh Riot, and the Super Secret Stand-up Show, among others.
Literary events will include ‘Battle of the Word’, author discussions, and panels. Vendors will also be selling arts and crafts over the course of the event. In addition, there are going to be several youth and children's activities taking place.
VIP passes are available for purchase for $375 and $750 (Emerald) for three days. VIP includes a collectible poster, a water bottle, and access to exclusive viewing areas. The Emerald pass offers all of this plus a special lounge, T-shirt, and gift package.
Seattle poster printing companies are often asked to provide the official posters for events like this.
Bumpershoot will take place from September 5 to 7. One-day tickets are $79 each. To find out about all of the activities being held, visit the official event website.
