The Fremont Fair is returning to Seattle for three days in June. A portion of all proceeds raised go to support local non-profit organizations.
The fair will start off with the 26th annual Solstice Parade. It will begin at 36th and Leary and travel to Gasworks Park.
There will be lots of food and drink (including beer gardens), more than 300 arts and crafts vendors, the art car blowout, and children's art activities. Visitors can also take part in yoga or visit information booths from local non-profits such as Sanctuary Screenprinting.
New this year is the two-day Solstice Concert Series. A daily concert pass is $20 in advance, $25 at the gate, or $35 for two days. Some of the acts confirmed to appear are Built to Spill, The Young Evils, and the Blue Scholars.
Vendors who are taking part in the fair will no doubt want to attract as many visitors as possible to their booths. They may do this by contacting Seattle banner printing companies and creating a colorful banner to hang over their tables, since more attention is likely to translate to more sales.
