The USA Bowling Coaching program will be holding a seminar this June at Atomic Bowl in Richland.
Those interested in becoming youth bowling coaches can get certified by attending a series of seminars provided by the USA Bowling Coaching program. The goal of the course is to teach students about the fundamentals of bowling and give attendees the skills needed to coach young bowlers effectively. Topics that will be covered during the seminar include the physical game, physical fitness, and appropriate nutrition.
The USA Bowling Coaching program will provide its students with learning resources that can be taken home from the event. Each student will receive a manual that has been created by the USBC Coaching Certification and Development Team, which includes over 140 pages of content ranging from coaching philosophies to basic skill drills. There will also be an eight-week lesson plan and a quick reference guide given to attendees. Corporations that hold seminars such as this can use poster printing for advertising the course at local bowling alleys.
The certification seminar will be held on Friday, June 26th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The educational meeting is part of a series of free events organized by the USA Bowling Coaching program, so there are no payments necessary to join. Those who wish to become bowling coaches can register online in advance.
