Richland seminar to help control pet behaviors

Dog owners can attend a two-day training course in December held at the 4Paws Dog Works in Richland.

The Building Balance and Wild Child Seminar is a two-part course where pet owners can learn more about their animals and discover what they can do to improve their pet’s behaviors. The Building Balance lesson will focus on communicating effectively with dogs and learning dog body language. The Wild Child class can teach those with excitable canines how dog arousal can trigger unwanted behaviors and what exercises will drain a dog’s excess energy.

4Paws Dog Works is a training facility where people can improve pet behaviors through results-oriented lessons taught by experienced trainers. Many classes are offered by the organization that cover topics such as basic manners and dog tricks. The facility also offers agility and rally classes for owners interested in canine-related sports. Tracy Hill is the founder of 4Paws Dog Works and also works as a trainer.

The training sessions will be held on Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4 from noon to 8:00 pm. Working spots are available for $250, and auditor spots can be purchased for $100. Pet coaches who offer helpful lessons like this may use business card printing to provide clients with their contact info in case customers are interested in signing up for more classes.
