Richland medical center offers webinar on brain preservation

The Kadlec Healthplex in Richland will be broadcasting a webinar in October on how people can better preserve their brains.

Preserving the Brain is a presentation by Neil Rawlins, MD, that discusses how nutrition and environmental factors impact the body. The lesson will show how changes in nutrition can help treat issues like memory loss, depression, and nerve pain. Rawlins is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist who earned a degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He also received a certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Kadlec Healthplex is a healthcare organization that has provided medical services to the Tri-Cities region for 75 years. The not-for-profit group can perform many types of procedures, such as neurosurgery and open heart survey. Educational courses are offered by the organization each month, covering topics like being a good babysitter, childbirth, and basic life support. Medical facilities like this may market their programs to locals with flyer printing.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, October 27 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Attendees do not need to pay to join the presentation, though registering is mandatory for all viewers. People can support the Kadlec Healthplex and its programs by donating to the Kadlec Foundation. Upcoming courses and presentations from the organization can be found on its website.
