Richland community to support local business owner
A benefit concert will be held at the Uptown Theatre in Richland to help a local businessman and musician.
Funds for Dick Ward is a concert and fundraiser where people can offer their financial support to Mr. Ward, who was recently impacted by a stroke and an aneurysm, which led to unexpected expenses from his hospitalization. He is a local small business owner who owns We Be Music, a store that has been operating for 40 years and sells instruments such as guitars, drums, and French horns. People who visit the business in person are allowed to try the products themselves.
The benefit concert will include live performances from groups like the Vaughn Jensen Blues Experience, Mango, and Badlandz. Emerald of Siam will provide snacks during the event and run a bar for those with valid IDs. People may help raise money for Ward by participating in the event’s auction and silent raffle. Those who organize fundraiser concerts similar to this may use print shops to make signs that advertise their events.
The activity will be held on Friday, January 27 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. General admission to Ward’s benefit concert will cost $15, and VIP tickets are $25. People who cannot come to the program can pay $20 for a donor ticket. All ages can attend Ward’s fundraiser.
