Wine Social in Richland will be starting an educational series in May with Vibe Tri-Cities and Tri-Cities Cork & Fork.
Wine Social Studies is a program where people can learn interesting facts about wine from industry professionals. The educational activity will be led by Glenn Grabiec and Hayley Black. Grabiec is a sommelier for the Bartholomew Winery and is the owner of Wine Party Pros. Black is the founder of Places to Vino and has worked as a fine wine specialist at Northwest Beverage. The Old World vs. New World Wines series will consist of three classes.
Wine Social is a lounge and destination for hosting private events. The company showcases local wines and beverages that have influenced Washington’s wine production. There is also a champagne bar at the venue. Several events are held at Wine Social, including Romance language lessons, deductive testing sessions, and winemaker meetings. The educational series will begin on Wednesday, May 5th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The second wine social studies lesson will be held on Wednesday, May 19th and will also start at 5:30 pm.
