Glassworking course to get Richland residents creating
A glassworking instructional course is bringing new ideas and skills to Richland, and local artisans are encouraged to attend.
Students in the course will learn to make a glass wine rack with assistance from experienced instructors, who will demonstrate how to use confetti, string, and glass frit to create the racks, which students can take home. Attendees can keep the racks they make or give them to loved ones or friends as gifts.
The racks are designed to display the wine bottles for a straightforward selection process. Interested parties can reserve tickets to ensure a place in the class. All materials are provided with the cost of a ticket. Brochure printing is an excellent way to provide step-by-step instructions and tips for artisanal experiences like this.
Participants must wear closed-toed shoes and full-cover pants to prevent injuries and ensure a safe experience. If registered guests cannot make the course, they can transfer tickets to friends or family to attend the same course. The completed wine racks will be available for pickup one week after the course’s conclusion.
The db Studio at Barnard Griffin Winery will host the glassworking course on Sunday, July 7, beginning at 1:30 PM and ending at 3:30 PM. Interested parties can register for the course online, and tickets are priced at $75 per person.
