Art and wine course adds color to Richland

Aspiring artists are in for a treat next month, as an instructional course will pair wine and painting to help Richland find a creative flow.

The Watercolor Workshop with Gail Roadhouse is scheduled to start in a few weeks, and Richland residents are invited to register to learn the finer points of painting with watercolors. The event will focus on teaching attendees the skills to paint pansies, with talented local artist Gail Roadhouse providing instruction and guidance. Gail has 24 years of experience painting with watercolors and instructing students.

The in-person instructional course will help attendees learn to create masterpieces using watercolors to paint colorful flowers. Interested parties of all experience levels are invited to attend, though the course is geared toward beginners. All attendees are encouraged to bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Printing services are an excellent option to print masterpieces from this event to share with friends and family.

The course has limited space, and interested parties are encouraged to register while slots remain. Throughout the three-hour course, guests will enjoy access to wine and appetizers to stay refreshed. Winery members will also enjoy exclusive glasses from which to drink.

The Barnard Griffin Winery will host the art event on Saturday, June 1st, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased online.
