Issaquah association to fundraise at local pizzeria

The Discovery Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will be collaborating with a pizza restaurant in Issaquah to raise funds for the organization in November.

The Tutta Bella Fundraiser for Discovery is an event held at the Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria where people can donate to the Discovery PTSA. Those who order from the pizzeria can use a fundraiser code that lets the restaurant donate 20% of the purchase to the organization. The code is only valid for customers who order delivery or pick-up, but will be honored by all Tutta Bella locations. Associations with fundraisers like this may promote the event using poster printing.

The Discovery PTSA is a non-profit group that provides children with the best educational experience by giving kids helpful learning materials. Several programs are organized by the association, like the Back to School Social, 5th Grade Promotion, Family Fun Night, and Holiday Cookies for Lunch. The organization also provides members with volunteering opportunities and parental support programs. The current president of the group is Jillian Born.

The pizza fundraiser will last from Sunday, November 7 to Thursday, November 11. People can place their orders for the cause between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm. The code for the fundraiser is EasyAsPieDiscovery. Those interested in Discovery PTSA and the group’s programs can find more information on the group’s site.
