The 9th annual Fenders on Front Street event is taking place this June in downtown Issaquah. It is hosted by the Downtown Issaquah Association.
The day will start off with breakfast with the Eagles football team. Later, classic and vintage cars will be displayed on the streets of downtown. It is free to register a car, and those who do will compete for trophies in categories such as Best of Show, Favorite Original, Foreign and Cuz it's Cool. The awards ceremonies will be emceed by Lance Lambert.
There will also be family friendly activities and musical performances from students of the Kaleidoscope School of Music. Vinyl Radio will be playing oldies music throughout the day with Jeff Shade, host of Talk about Cars. The day will end up with a cruise that will end at the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-In.
This annual event should be a good place to bring dad for Father's Day. Organizers will likely be advertising this event widely in Issaquah in order to attract as many people as possible. Local printing companies are usually asked to provide products like Flyers or Signs, which are easily distributed or displayed.
