The Issaquah Reindeer Festival is taking place next month for three weeks. All proceeds from this event will go to support the reindeer farm.
The festival is held at the location of Santa’s reindeer farm. Guests will be able to watch reindeer feedings and even feed some of them themselves. They will also get the chance to sit in Santa’s grand traveling sleigh while they enjoy some music and a warm beverage.
Santa will be meeting with children in his house, hearing what they want for Christmas and posing for pictures; a photo with Santa costs $15 for three pictures or $5 if guests use their own camera. Children can also write a letter to Santa and mail it, meet Santa’s kittens, listen to the storytelling elf, or tour the Magic Forest. Other activities will include face painting and shopping. Guests are also encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the toy drive.
Many families from all over the Seattle area will likely decide to attend the festival. To help spread the word, local poster printing firms may be asked to provide products.
The Issaquah Reindeer Festival will be held at Cougar Mountain Zoo from December 1 to 23 from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Tickets are $14.50 for adults, $12.50 for seniors, and $10.50 for children between the ages of 2 and 12. Call 425-391-5508 to learn more.
