Gig Harbor event combines craft and wine

A hands-on workshop in Gig Harbor is offering participants an opportunity to create handmade gifts, marking Mother’s Day with a relaxed social experience.

Hosted at Hidden Harbor Wine Library, the event combines guided crafting with a casual setting where attendees can enjoy beverages available for purchase.

The session focuses on assembling decorative items using pre-cut wooden materials. Participants can select from several project options, including a floral arrangement made from wood, a decorative plaque themed around motherhood, or a pair of handcrafted earrings. Each option is designed to be completed during the session with assistance from an instructor, making the activity accessible to individuals without prior experience. All necessary materials are provided as part of registration, including paint, tools, and assembly supplies.

The workshop is intended for adults, with an age requirement of 21 and older. While beverages are not included in the ticket price, attendees may purchase wine and other drink options on site. Food options are also available for purchase or may be brought in by participants.

With many creative events of this nature, Print shops are used to display instruction, and other event-related information.

General admission is free, although registration must be completed. Add-on options are also available at varying prices.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 3 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Hidden Harbor Wine Library, 8805 North Harborview Dr, Suite 204, Gig Harbor.
