The 15th annual Green Gig™ Chowder Social will once again bring together chefs, community members, and supporters of early youth education for an evening centered on food and fundraising.
Hosted inside the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum, the event will showcase a diverse lineup of chowders prepared by regional culinary teams, ranging from traditional seafood blends to vegetarian and vegan options.
Attendees will sample each entry in the annual Chowder Challenge, where participating chefs compete for top recognition. Guests can also expect a large grazing table, small-plate offerings, desserts, live music, and both silent and live auctions. A raffle, known as the Great Chowda Barrel Raffle, will round out the evening’s activities.
This year’s event continues a long-standing tradition of supporting the GGHF Curious by Nature School. Since its founding, the organization has directed more than $400,000 toward subsidizing tuition and over $60,000 in scholarship support aimed at increasing access to early learning opportunities.
Banner printing is often used by event organizers to help instruct attendees to designated areas at venues such as this one.
Ticket options include a VIP table for eight at $578.06, offering reserved seating and additional amenities. Patron and Stewards Scholarship Sponsor tickets are available for $161.90, each supporting educational initiatives. A volunteer ticket is priced at $33.85 and includes full event access in exchange for assisting with event operations.
The event is scheduled for February 7th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum, 1108 26th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, Washington.
