Gig Harbor will host its first Fool’s Run 5K this April in Gig Harbor. It is being organized by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce.
The race invites competitive runners, casual participants, and spectators to an evening of fitness and celebration. The race will wind through downtown, offering a scenic course for those aiming for personal records as well as those participating for fun. Runners are encouraged to embrace the event’s festive spirit by wearing costumes.
Following the race, there will be a Fool’s Run 5K Celebration Station at Hop Pharm. This post-race event will feature food trucks, including La Plancha, offering Mexican dishes, and Dick’s Drive Thru Burgers, known for its classic burgers. La Plancha and Hop Pharm will also offer special drink and food items.
Organizers are continuing to add event details and encourage businesses, performers, and sponsors interested in participating to reach out.
Admission fees are currently $35. Interested attendees can register and view the race route through the event listing. Current sponsors of the event include Pierce Transit, Wate Connections, and Visit Gig Harbour.
Organizers may use poster printing to make the community aware of new events such as this one.
