History enthusiasts in the Bainbridge Island area will want to make a note on their calendar for an upcoming cruise that will explore the area’s nature and local legends.
The Set Sail Into History cruise, which is being organized by the Bainbridge History Museum, is set to embark on a journey through time, sharing local stories and legends with passengers. Attendees will be able to get a better idea of the island’s character and charm with the guide sharing facts about the first European settlers and the indigenous tribes who made the Puget Sound their home.
Bill Covert and Lindsay Ogles will serve as the cruise’s narrators, and guests will enjoy lunch while aboard the vessel. A cash bar will also be operating to provide attendees with refreshing beverages for a fun and fascinating day on the water. Poster printing is an excellent resource for promoting events like this around the community.
VIP ticket packages will be available with limited seating on the second deck. Six tables with six seats will comprise that section, providing these guests with elevated views. Membership is required to reserve tickets, and attendees will receive a swag bag upon boarding.
The cruise will embark from Waterfront Park in Bainbridge Island on Sunday, July 19 at 11:00 AM, with the cruise ending at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $200 online.
