Bainbridge Island residents and visitors will have a chance to tap into their creativity this February, when a local winery will host a painting event in a rustic setting.
The Artvana Winter Paint and Sip, which is being organized by Konnex Traveling Paint and Sip, will be coming to Bainbridge Island soon, allowing participants to use acrylic paints to create a personalized masterpiece. The theme for this painting session will be “Winter Moon Wreath,” and it will involve painting onto canvas.
The painting will tap into the pastoral setting that matches the host venue. Students will be led by an experienced instructor, and is suitable for everyone from beginners to professional artists. The step-by-step guidance will help each guest create a piece they are proud of. Print shops can help artists make Copies of their work to share with friends and family after such events.
Students are welcome to sip on home-grown wines from the host venue while painting in the covered, lit canvas tent. All painting supplies are included with the cost of registration. Attendees are advised to dress in layers, and the venue will have extra blankets.
Bainbridge Vineyards in Bainbridge Island will be hosting the creative workshop on Sunday, January 25, starting at 3:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online for $54 per participant.
