A unique creative experience is coming to the Bainbridge Island community at the end of August, and local artists are encouraged to participate.
The Art in the Dahlias event will welcome local artists to a dahlia farm in Bainbridge Island later this summer, with organizers announcing two separate dates in order to accommodate more participants. The experience will combine a seasonal art market with a chance for participants to paint while sitting in fields of blooming dahlias.
Over the course of both days of the event, local artists will be showcased and given a platform and registered guests will make floral-themed gifts and works of art. Guests are also welcome to pick bouquets of dahlias from the host farm to take home and add color to their homes. Poster printing is a cost-effective promotional approach for organizations and brands seeking to spread awareness of events like this.
The painting session will be followed by live music and entertainment, and the host venue has arranged for food trucks to attend and provide snacks and meals. Interested families are welcome to bring their little ones and enjoy a family-friendly environment.
The U Pick Dahlias Garden in Bainbridge Island will host the painting experience and art market on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, opening at 10:00 AM both days. Admission is free.
