Williamsburg company receives award

The Williamsburg Economic Development Authority (EDA) has named the winner of the 2019 Williamsburg Business Appreciation Award. This year, the honor goes to Cardinal Survey and Design, PLC, according to an article on the city’s website.

Cardinal Survey is a civil engineering, 3D imaging, planning, and land surveying company headquartered in the City of Williamsburg, but serving the whole mid-Atlantic region. The founder of the firm is George Cunha, who has 20 years’ experience in land surveying. Cunha inspects every job personally before work starts, so that Cardinal can provide its clients with the best possible service.

EDA chairman Adam Steely calls Cardinal Survey “one of the best secrets in Williamsburg,” enjoying an outstanding reputation and providing top-notch work to their clients. Steely added he is proud that Cardinal has been in Williamsburg for nine years, and that they have a professional, dedicated staff of 18. He feels they deserve the award. Organizations honored in this way can use Logo Design to incorporate the award, and may add details of it to their employees’ Business Cards.

Recently, Cardinal Survey and Design acquired another company, Berkley Howell, which will enable it to offer additional services to customers in Lynchburg. In addition, it is working toward acquiring another company in Richmond. Steely says the EDA and all of Williamsburg congratulates the company and wishes it continuing success.
