Golf tournament brings competition to Williamsburg

Golfers in the Williamsburg area who are ready to hit the links this spring may want to mark the date on their Calendars, as a fundraising golf tournament is nearly set to tee off.

The 2026 Logy Bear Golf Tournament has announced the official date for fun on the links, and interested golfers in the area will want to get their clubs and hit the local driving range in preparation. The tournament is open to golfers of all skill and experience levels, with the day’s ultimate goal to make new friendships while improving skills along the way.

The money raised at the golf tournament will benefit the LL12 Foundation, a local nonprofit, with participants combining fun with making a difference. The tournament will use a shotgun start, which is set for 9:00 AM. Local businesses sponsoring the event can work with printing services to provide promotional materials to place around the golf course, providing hundreds of positive impressions.

Golfers will also get to participate in course contests and raffles for the chance to win prizes. Food will be provided, and the top three teams will receive awards for their golfing prowess.

The tournament will be held at Kingsmill River Golf Course in Williamsburg, and is scheduled for Friday, May 8th, with check-in set for 7:30 AM. Registration is $800 per foursome online.
