Womens trail race challenges Williamsburgs runners

A trail running race is coming to Williamsburg this March, challenging women with a love for running in the area to put their endurance to the test.

The Women’s Trail Festival is drawing closer, with organizers announcing that races will be held over two days, allowing runners to hit the trail for a good cause. The proceeds from the race will benefit the Williamsburg House of Mercy, along with the Colonial Road Runners Scholarship Fund, which supports female athletes. Donations of mother and infant-oriented items, including feminine hygiene products, are also appreciated.

Runners who register will be able to participate in the race of their choice, receive a commemorative t-shirt, a complimentary lunch, and the chance to attend educational talks and participate in exercise classes. Promotional Products like T-Shirts can provide years of impressions while also adding to the recipient’s experience at events like this.

All finishers of the runs and hikes will receive medals for their accomplishments. Interested parties can sign up for more than one race and choose between a competitive or non-competitive option. The race has the approval of the Trail Sisters organization, though men are also welcome to register.

The race will be held at Freedom Park in Williamsburg, with check-in starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 28th. Registration is open online for hikers and runners.
