The warm breezes of spring are just around the corner in Williamsburg, and area residents who wish to use their creativity to indulge in the season will be in luck.
The Spring Succulent Wreath creative workshop is coming to town in April to help interested parties learn the necessary skills to create a colorful wreath to decorate the front door. The wreath will be a living home for the succulents that students select for their design, with a grapevine keeping the wreath together.
No prior experience is required to sign up and participate in the wreath workshop, and attendees are invited to join and enjoy the relaxed setting of Williamsburg’s Merchant Square. Print shops can design and provide professional-looking and feeling instruction pamphlets to creatives who sign up for such crafting events.
The course’s instructor will shed light on the different succulents used and the best tips for taking care of them. Take-home succulent care cards will be provided to each student. Students should anticipate having many different succulents to choose from for their designs. The ticket price covers all necessary supplies and materials, and the class places an emphasis on sustainable practices.
The Williamsburg Winery Wine Bar is hosting the succulent wreath workshop on Friday, April 3rd, starting at 6:00 PM. Interested crafters and creatives can make reservations online for $69.07 per person.
