Animal sanctuary tour helps Williamsburg build bonds
A local animal sanctuary is preparing to welcome guests for a tour of its grounds in a few weeks, bringing Williamsburg residents closer to animals.
The Life with Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary will open its doors to interested parties and begin offering tours of its grounds, providing participants with the opportunity to see and interact with a diverse range of animals. Visitors will enjoy an hour-long tour that makes several stops to hear the inspiring rescue stories behind each animal at the sanctuary.
The animals include turkeys, pigs, cows, sheep, geese, chickens, and more. It’s an ideal setting for animal lovers in Williamsburg to connect with the rescued critters and discover new ways to make a difference in their community. Brochure printing can help event organizers promote such events while providing additional information to attendees for a memorable and comprehensive tour experience.
The organizers are taking extra measures to protect their animals from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, which can prove fatal to chickens and turkeys. Interested parties with outdoor birds at home are asked to refrain from scheduling a tour until a later date. Guests are also asked to disinfect the soles of their shoes.
The tour will take place at 195 Maxton Lane in Williamsburg starting on Saturday, September 13th, at 10:00 AM. Registration is free and open online, and donations are appreciated.
