William & Mary opens registrations for summit

Registration for 2023's NATO Youth Summit, dubbed "NextGen Freedom & Security," is now open, according to an announcement from the College of William & Mary.

The day of the 2023 NATO Youth Summit will start in Brussels, Belgium, where the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is located, before transitioning to Washington, D.C., where William & Mary will host the United States segment. The summit will bring together young individuals from North America, Europe, and around the world for a free conversation that will span the Atlantic, taking place both remotely and in person. The organizer’s Logo Design is likely to feature on any promotional material for the event.

Peggy Agouris, the provost for the Williamsburg-based college, commented to say:

“William & Mary students are counted among the brightest and most solutions-oriented young people in the world. I have no doubt that they will make good use of the day, working with other equally talented young people, making new connections, and brainstorming provocative new ideas.”

The event, which is being organized jointly by William & Mary and NATO, will offer participants the chance to establish connections, participate in novel discussions, improve comprehension, share opinions, and investigate how NATO tackles challenges deemed crucial to their safety. William & Mary has stated that the topics discussed will span from national defense and disinformation to the changing climate and the newest technologies.

The event is scheduled for Monday, June 5.
