A celebration of craft beers has been scheduled in Williamsburg.
Aspire Young Professionals and The Rotary Club of Williamsburg are presenting the 2022 Williamsburg Craft Beer Festival.
The event is a fundraiser for four non-profit organizations in the local area: Literacy for Life, Here for the Girls, Inc., Bacon Street Youth and Family Service, and the Avalon Center. All of the proceeds from the event will go directly to these four agencies. The organizers have raised approximately $150,000 for these charities from the previous six events.
There are two categories of admission, general, and VIP. The general admission price of $65 includes a 16-ounce glass for tasting, unlimited pours of four ounces each, as well as live music, restrooms, and more. Vendors will have food available that can be purchased separately. VIP admission is $75 and includes all the benefits of general admission plus early entry, a complimentary item from one of the food vendors, and a designated area for VIPs only. The special area offers private restrooms, lounge seating, and VIP beers. Organizers of events like this will find flyer printing helpful in creating handouts for attendees, listing participating vendors.
The festival is set for April 24, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. VIP ticket holders will be admitted at 12:00 pm. The venue for the event is the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg’s lawn, a change of location from previous years. The event is completely tented, and will go ahead in any weather.
