Williamsburg folk are invited to attend and learn a new skill at a workshop in mid-April.
The Soap and Sip soapmaking event is set to start in a few weeks, and area DIYers and crafters are welcome to join to take part in a positive learning environment. During the course, attendees will receive guidance on how to make handcrafted soaps with pleasant aromas and moisturizing effects. The instructors will demonstrate how to use quality butter and oils to make soaps for the home.
The event will also provide participants with cards for seasonal soap options, allowing them to continue learning and growing skills after returning home at the end of the event. Printing services are the perfect option for printing colorful and creative cards to display soap recipes at events like this.
Each participant will leave the event with six bars of soap, which can be gifted or used. The soapmaking kit is included with the cost of an event ticket, and guests are encouraged to bring their favorite bottles of wine as part of an enjoyable experience.
The course will be hosted by Under the Stars Farm on Wednesday, April 17, beginning at 6:30 PM and ending at 8:30 PM. Spots in the course are limited, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations online. Tickets cost $45.
