Wild Adriatic is a rock outfit that first got together in 2011, in Saratoga Springs, New York. They released their debut EP that same year, and followed that up with two additional EPs, finally releasing “Big Suspicious,” their first album, in 2014. Another EP followed in 2015, and they released their album “Feel” in 2017.
The band began to build its reputation by touring extensively, first in the Saratoga region, then throughout the Eastern United States. They finally moved on to Europe, where they toured in 2014 to support “Big Suspicious,” playing 176 shows. The European tour was five weeks long, and won the group rave reviews from critics and fans in Belgium, Germany, Spain, and more.
They cite both classic rock and more contemporary groups as inspiration. They looked to the greats like the Beatles, Queen, and Led Zeppelin, as well as Wolfmother and the Black Keys. As they have begun bringing out the soul aspects to their sound, they also cite the influence of Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding.
One review of the band said:
“Wild Adriatic is a must-see show, the band is amazing. See them now while you can.”
Wild Adriatic will be at the Precarious Beer Hall in Williamsburg on August 28, at 9:00 pm. When concerts like this are scheduled, flyer printing is a great way to create publicity for the event.
