Memorial golf tournament honors Williamsburg resident

Golfers in the Williamsburg area are invited to dust off their clubs, clean their shoes, and hit the links to support a good cause and the memory of a fellow resident.

The Brian Jensen Memorial Golf Fundraiser is weeks from getting underway. The inaugural gathering is designed to honor a friend and raise funds for local causes. The golf outing, organized by Steven Jensen and Chelsea Jensen Damm, will donate all proceeds from registered golfers to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to fund research and find a cure.

The event will bring friends and family together to celebrate Jensen’s life and honor a cause he was passionate about. Golfers of all skill and experience levels are welcome to register and play in his honor. Banner printing is a fantastic way to raise awareness of such events and causes while promoting event sponsors.

Each registered player will enjoy 18 holes of golf with like-minded individuals, making for a memorable day on the links. Raffle prizes will also be available to spectators and golfers. Lunch will be provided and is covered by the cost of registration.

The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club will host the memorial outing on Friday, October 11th, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Boxed lunches will be dispersed at 10:30 AM, and the shotgun begins at noon. Registration is available online for $110 per player.
