A cooking challenge is brewing next month, and Williamsburg area cooks and chefs are urged to bring their best recipe and enter for a chance to win.
The Inaugural Meatball Cookoff is preparing to get saucy and take attendees’ taste buds on a ride, with Williamsburg residents and visitors invited to join in. The contest will determine who has the best meatball recipe in town. The event is being organized by The Colonial Italian American Organization with help from Frothy Moon.
The event will act as a fundraiser to support two local students and provide them with scholarships to further their educations and work toward achieving their dreams. It is an ideal setting for food lovers and individuals in the community who want to support a good cause. Banner printing is an excellent way to promote such events while displaying sponsor logos for visibility and impressions.
Guests are encouraged to invite friends to enjoy the live music, food, and competition. Ticket sales will close two weeks before the cook-off starts.
The Frothy Moon Brewhouse will be the host venue for the cooking competition, which is set for Saturday, May 31. The event will be moved to the following day, June 1, in the event of rain or inclement weather. Doors open at 3:30 PM, and tickets are $20 online.
