Williamsburg is welcoming the holidays in an unusual way—needlework.
The 2020 Needlefest: Christmas in Williamsburg has been put on the schedule, and will be held at the luxurious Kingsmill Resort. People who are enthusiastic about needlework will be able to meet with world-famous instructors and teachers, take classes, and work on new projects. A lounge with a beautiful view of the James River will be available for participants in the event.
Also included in the price of registration is a breakfast buffet every morning for the four days of the event, plus lunch each day as well. A banquet will be held on the Friday of the weekend, and there will be a tea and coffee service each afternoon.
Also included is admission to several lectures on samplers, a goodie bag, daily giveaways and drawings, access to the lounge all day, shuttles to Colonial Williamsburg, and access to the Shopping Boutique. In addition, two special designs are being created for the event. Giulia Manfredini is making her design for a holiday ornament available, and another special design for all attendees is in the works.
Among the experts who will be attending are Jackie du Plessis, Eileen Bennett, and Betsy Morgan.
Needlefest 2020 is scheduled for December 2-7, and reservations are being taken now. The registration fee is $325 per person. Brochure printing can provide programs for events like this.
