Flower arranging course brings color to Williamsburg

Spring is around the corner, and a flower arranging course is planning a visit to the Williamsburg area to teach the basics of making flower arrangements, just as the flowers begin to bloom.

The Flower Arranging with Spring Flowers course is set to begin in a few weeks, providing Williamsburg residents with an opportunity to learn to make floral arrangements for homes and events. The course will focus on the introductory design tips to use when arranging recently purchased flower bouquets. The instructor will provide tips through each step of the process to help attendees produce arrangements that look professional.

All materials are provided by the class, with guests receiving up to eight focal flowers, seven fillers, and four foliage stems. The course instructor will show different design options to bring out the best of each flower type. Flyer printing can be a great way to spread awareness of artistic events like this in the community.

The class will focus on using color to create designs and tips to preserve flowers and keep them alive for longer. Attendees will also learn about the best local places to source flowers for future arrangements.

The course will be held at Blessing and Blooms Florists on Thursday, March 14, beginning at 6:30pm and lasting two hours. General admission tickets cost $55 per participant and are available online.
