Co-working space plans anniversary celebration

An unusual company is planning to celebrate its anniversary soon.

Work Nimbly, a co-working space, has been in operation for five years, and is planning to host a celebration in honor of its fifth birthday this coming week. The event will give visitors a chance to meet members of the Work Nimbly co-working space, as well as business owners, and the co-owners of the company, Jenn Haynes and Gretchen Bedell. The two opened their first space in 2014 on Ingram Road in James City County. By 2017, they had grown so quickly, they had to move to a larger space.

Bedell said that at the time they opened, Williamsburg had not seen many co-working spaces. However, in the years since they founded Work Nimbly, the concept has become much more popular and other premises have opened. However, each co-working company has its own way of working, and Work Nimbly has concentrated on offering seminars and events to help build the community. Concentrating on these aspects of business have enabled it to succeed and keep growing. Bedell points out that people now have a number of choices of co-working spaces in Williamsburg, yet come back to Work Nimbly.

Work Nimbly's party to celebrate its fifth anniversary is set for Thursday, September 19, starting at 5:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to stop in and see what co-working is all about. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for events like this.
