The “Annual Show and Shine Show” will return to Williamsburg for the third time next month. The event will help raise money to support people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s is a chronic disease that can impede a person’s daily life. People with the disease face problems with their motor systems, including rigid muscles and slowed movement. Through the car show, organizers and the American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA) hope to raise money to fund treatment and research for the disease.
At the event, guests will find all kinds of cars and other vehicles. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their vehicles for showcasing. Live music from a DJ and raffles with Promotional Products will also be featured at the event. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, organizers ask that guests follow social distancing measures while inside the venue.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 13 between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The Williamsburg Antique Mall will host and organize the event alongside the Classic Cruisers Car Club. Attendees can find the venue on 500 Lightfoot Road. Entry for the event is free, but guests are welcome to donate to the APDA.
Anyone with more questions can call Wes Taylor at 775-776-0094 or email Al Crane at cranejra@aol.com, or can visit the APDA website to learn more about the disease.
