Yoga program scheduled in Virginia Beach

Starting early in the new year, a yoga instructor training program is taking place at Karen Babcock Yoga & Satya Yoga Academy, RYS 200.

This extensive 200-hour yoga instructor training covers various styles like vinyasa, hatha yoga, beginner yoga, leveled classes, and safe transitions, catering to diverse student needs. It delves into yoga's history, pranayama, philosophy, meditation, physiology, biomechanics, and anatomy.

The course will include detailed breakdowns of poses for contraindications and alignment, explore the subtle body nadis and chakras (parts of the electrical network running through the body, ensure safety for prenatal students in regular classes, offer monthly mentoring sessions, teach class design, and encourage finding a genuine teaching style. It involves practice teaching, fosters personal practice development, and provides ample opportunities for transformation and growth.
