Virginia Beach to welcome spring with pop-up market

This spring, 150 craftspeople, artists, and other makers will be congregating at the Virginia Beach Convention Center to take part in an event that will help open the spring festival season for the city.

The annual Virginia Beach Spring Craft Market is fast approaching, and it has a run time of three days in mid-April. It will provide opportunities for the public to add to their personal collection, and items at almost every price point will be in the mix.

The shoppers will be invited to browse through the assorted display and tables, and they can meet the makers in person. New product lines may be introduced, and there will be options for home decor for both indoors and out.

Those in the market for handcrafted jewelry and other gifts will find plenty to catch their interest, and adult admission is $8.00. Children 12 and under may enter for free. Anyone who brings a donation of canned food for an area food bank will receive a discounted entry fee.

There is often power in numbers, and a market gives a variety of businesses the chance to join others for a sales event, all under one roof. A banner printing company can prepare decor as well as marketing materials to post throughout the community to help build the buzz.

The 39th Annual Virginia Beach Spring Craft Market will run from April 11 to April 13. It will open at 10:00 am on all three days.
