Virginia Beach class crafts succulent planters

Succulents are plants well known for the wide variety of Forms and ease of care, and they will be the stars of the show at a Virginia Beach activity that will introduce the basics of plant care.

The facilitator for the planting session will teach how to put together a dish garden, and the container will be a living pumpkin. All materials will be provided, and no carving is needed.

Attendees will use the homegrown succulents to make their living arrangement, and there will be an assortment to choose from, as well as moss, dried flowers, and other accents. While working, everyone will learn how to care for their new green friends, and they will also receive tips for transforming their planter to one with a winter theme.

Working with plants can be both fun and relaxing, and a workshop offers a way for those who are new to the practice to get their feet wet. Basic growing guides will help them provide top care to their new green member of their household, and can be prepared by a brochure printing company.

This introduction to the fun of indoor gardening will be on offer on Friday, October 3. Virginia Beach Winery will serve as the venue for the session, found at 1064 Lynnhaven Parkway. Tickets start at $68 each.
