The annual fundraising festival of Virginia Beach is to return this September.
The 49th Annual Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend is a two-day event that gives attendees the opportunity to give back to community programs while enjoying a wide range of family-friendly activities and amenities. The festival will feature live music and a host of food and beverage options.
The event will also cater to beach enthusiasts and art lovers. Attendees can enjoy a variety of attractions, including daily concerts featuring local, regional, and national acts, as well as an Art & Craft Show with over 250 artists displaying their creations on the boardwalk. Notable highlights include the International Sand Sculpting Championship tent showcasing works by talented sculptors from around the world.
Visitors can also participate in sand sculpting clinics, hosted by professionals. The weekend will be packed with fitness activities, such as Neptune's 8k Race, Beach Yoga and Fitness Experience, and Poseidon's Playground. A range of entertainment options awaits, with over 35 musical acts scheduled to perform throughout the event. The Grand Parade will be a centerpiece, celebrating the spirit of the occasion.
