Writer to teach sustainability at Vienna bookshop

The Bards Alley Bookshop in Vienna will be inviting author Kate Gaertner to hold an interactive and informative event in August.

Sustainable Living with Kate Gaertner is a presentation where people can discover how they can become more green in their lives. Gaertner will be conducting an activity to teach guests about important areas of impact, and a limited number of attendees may even win a prize. The venue asks all participants to wear a face-covering during the sustainability presentation, and to practice social distancing. Those who have COVID-like symptoms are asked not to attend the bookshop’s event.

Gaertner is a corporate sustainability consultant who has been working with companies for more than 20 years. She is also the founder of OMALA and serves on the board of the XXcelerate Fund. Her book is Planting A Seed, which is about the impact of climate change and the habits people can form to help the environment. Presenters like Gaertner can use Business Cards to advertise their seminars to potential venues.

The sustainability activity with Kate Gaertner will be held on Saturday, August 27th and will begin at 2:00 pm. There is no fee to take part in Gaertner’s program, and registration is not required. Those with COVID symptoms who are interested in getting a copy of the featured book can order it via phone call and pick it up after making a full recovery.
