Virginia is home to many country music legends, and the residents of Vienna will soon be celebrating their impact on the industry. An upcoming February event aims to pay tribute to some of the most well-known names, and to introduce an entirely new generation to their talent.
Jammin Java is slated to host a one-time concert dubbed "From Shore to Valley". This event will recognise the contributions of Virginia country musicians who went on to enjoy nationwide fame. Patsy Cline and June Carter are two well-known examples, as both traced their early roots back to Virginia.
Some songs that guests can expect to enjoy include Can the Circle be Unbroken, Keep on the Sunny Side, Crazy, Walkin' After Midnight, and Back in Baby's Arms. Their works will be interpreted by Emily Woodhull, Annie Stokes, and Rebecca Porter. These musicians have likewise carved out their own niche within the larger country music community.
Live concert organizers will normally use proven techniques to keep potential guests informed. Flyer printing, brochure distribution, and creating large banner advertisements are three examples of possible strategies.
From Shore to Valley will be taking place on Thursday, February 26th. Doors open at 6 PM, and the concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM. This event is being hosted by Jammin Java located at 227 Maple Avenue East. Tickets cost $21 per person, and all ages are welcome to attend.
