Vienna soon to host live classic musical

The Vienna Theatre Company has announced that it will soon be performing a live musical, and all residents are welcome to attend.

The Vienna Theatre Company will be interpreting the musical My Fair Lady. This story involves a young woman names Eliza Doolittle who faces significant professional challenges as a result of her strong Cockney accent. As a result, she is forced to remain within the lower classes of Edwardian society. However, things begin to change after an encounter with a language professor named Henry Higgins. What results is a surprising friendship, and Ms. Doolittle soon begins to transform into an elegant woman.

My Fair Lady was based on the play Pygmalion written by George Bernard Shaw, and this musical was first performed live in 1956. Today, it stands as one of the most critically acclaimed musicals of all time.

Organizers hoping to promote live events will often use traditional techniques that appeal to their audience base. Professional brochure printing, distributing Flyers, and advertising on local radio stations are common methods.

My Fair Lady will be returning to the Vienna stage on Friday, April 27. Family friendly, the show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM, and it will conclude at 10:15 PM. It is being performed within the Vienna Community Center located at 120 Cherry Street SE. Tickets are currently priced at $18, and additional dates can be found at the Town of Vienna website.
