The Vienna Wireless Society Winterfest is celebrating its 50th year, and this year's festival is expected to appeal to a wide range of amateur radio operators. An indoor market will also provide a unique opportunity to purchase vintage items, connect with other ham aficionados, and sell products that may be difficult to find elsewhere.
In addition to the indoor fair, all guests have the option of purchasing raffle tickets before the event commences. Prizes include digital transceivers and Gift Certificates worth $100. Other attractions include ham radio license examinations, QSL card Checks (the cards used for two-way radiocommunication, and a separate American Radio Relay League (ARRL) forum.
Organizers of events associated with smaller target audiences will frequently use efficient marketing strategies. Common approaches include partnering with Stationery printers to produce Flyers, creating Flyers, and providing social media updates.
