Few bands have made as much of an impression on modern music than the Grateful Dead, and an upcoming Vienna concert will be showcasing the band’s influence.
The Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration has been created as a means to honor this Grateful Dead frontman. This event is open to all ages, and fans can expect to enjoy a stimulating evening. However, what makes this concert unique is that the songs will be played by the National Symphonic Orchestra. This provides a touch of classical music to some of the most well-known Grateful Dead songs.
The National Symphonic Orchestra will be joined on stage by a cadre of other well-known musicians. These include Melvin Seals, Jacklyn LaBranch, Kanika Moore, Grahame Lesh, and Tom Hamilton. Christopher Dragon is conducting the orchestra. Dark Star, Ripple, Friend of the Devil, and A Touch of Grey are some of titles that guests can expect to enjoy.
