Vienna supports community volunteering efforts

This Spring, the Vienna community is working together to inspire future volunteering efforts with this upcoming event.

The Vienna Community Center is often considered the primary gathering place for the Vienna community, which makes it the ideal location for the upcoming Spring it On, A Family Volunteer Festival.

This Kids Give Back event is designed to unite the community to celebrate the spring season and inspire volunteering efforts. During Spring it On, A Family Volunteer Festival, attendees will be able to enjoy face painting, music, and raffles while participating in service projects. Some of the projects available for attendees include building hygiene kits for ECHO, creating suncatchers for Sweet Julia Grace, helping the Centreville Immigration Forum make Mother’s Day Spa Kits, packing snack packs, and helping a Title 1 school create Teacher Appreciation gifts. Event participants can also pre-order a family meal from Chick-fil-A when purchasing their tickets.

Events designed to inspire future activities often use brochure printing to highlight the different volunteer opportunities available for Vienna residents to participate in after the event.

The Spring it On, A Family Volunteer Festival will take place on May 3, 2025,, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, located at 20 Cherry St SE, Vienna. Tickets are $25 for a family or $15 for one person and can be purchased through the event website.
