Vienna to host local brewery tour

Beer enthusiasts can visit the Caboose Tavern in Vienna, Virginia next month to attend a tour of the facility’s brewery hosted by Slow Food DC.

The Caboose Tavern will be inviting guests to sample their products while learning more about the brewery’s sustainability practices in their business model. The tavern will offer a guided tour that shows attendees how sustainability is incorporated into the various aspects of their operations. The brewery tour will cover topics such as how they source their ingredients, engage with the community, and repurpose their waste and by-products.

The tour of Caboose Tavern is part of the summer long event held by Slow Food DC known as the Summer of Sustainable Beverages series. The organization promotes sustainable food sources while working to preserve the culinary traditions of the diverse populations throughout the region.

Multiple events are held by Slow Food DC that help educate people about sustainable food sources. Organizations that host events such as this can use brochure printing to provide attendees with educational resources to view at home.

The tour of the Caboose Tavern brewery will be held on August 20th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Admission to the event can be purchased for $32 per person. Guests who participate in the tour will be treated to a flight of beer from the brewery and snacks.
