Green Hedges School in Vienna will be hosting a workshop this January that will provide kids with an interactive artistic experience.
The Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts will have a program that children can attend. The workshop is intended for kids between the ages of two and five, offering a stimulating live art activity that they can share with their parents.
Katherine Lyons, a Master Teaching Artist who works with the Wolf Trap Institute, will be leading the program. Lyons has experience presenting multiple workshops, teaching kids about topics like mathematics.
The Wolf Trap Foundation of the Performing Arts is an organization that creates educational programs that help support children from around the world. Kids who participate in programs offered by the group have been shown to earn better test scores, increase their language development, and gain enhanced 21st-century skills. Organizations that hold educational programs similar to this can use poster printing to make ads that schools can display for their students.
The children’s activity will be held on Friday, January 10 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The program is free to all attending families, though those who are interested in participating must register in advance. Anybody who wants to support the Wolf Trap Foundation can become volunteers, purchase a membership, or provide the organization with a private donation.
